OUR LOVE STORIES

-From Whitney

Wow… so Tevin messages me on Facebook messenger on December 1st, 2013. The message said “Bday Bash Dec 14 at dreams you betta be there”. I opened the message and of course, I left him "on read" because I know I wasn’t going to any club in December. So, after that Tevin finally message me again on August 3, 2014, telling me how gorgeous I was I’m assuming when we saw each other at Creekside. Being the stubborn person that I am I left him "on read" again... lol I was being very mean at the time. So finally, he saw me at my graduation and of course, he messages me saying, “yesterday you were” with a lot of heart emojis. I FINALLY REPLIED!!!!!! I told him "thank you" and we were going back and forth sending each other emojis. We finally switched numbers and wow as I’m reminiscing in 2022, I should’ve been replied to that Facebook message. This man has been the best thing besides my kids that have come into my life. I love his growth, and I love our growth together. When he accepted me, he also accepted my children as a package deal, and I will forever truly love and adore him for that. Tevin Jamar Wilson I’m so glad you came into my life... and I’m so glad you never gave up on me, this is MY story!

The day Whitney caught my attention was May 23, 2015 at the graduation we both were attending. The moment I saw her I forgot I was even at graduation. There were so many people around at the time, so I couldn’t just stop and introduce myself because the last thing I wanted to do was get rejected in front of so many people. I waited and found her on Facebook. During our whole conversation, we had no words only emojis. We did what normal folks would do... talked, chilled with each other, and got to know each other. The only way I knew she was really feeling me is because I worked night shifts at Lowes and my lunch break was at 11 every day. Even though she had to be to work the next day early, she brought me lunch every single day with her kids in the car. I said to myself this girl hasn’t done any complaining about bringing me food. It was her heart for me... anything I needed, and if she had it was never a hesitation and that’s when I knew she was going to be my wife.
